 Maria Dodson is a ceramic artist and the founder of Alma Fluye. Drawing from over a decade of experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, her work explores the subtle interplay between stillness and flow.

A versatile studio potter utilizing wheel throwing, hand-building, and slip casting techniques, Maria creates vessels defined by organic contours. Her pieces are a reflection of fluidity and presence. Each form honoring the beauty of imperfection.

My work lives at the intersection of stillness and motion, where clay becomes a quiet record of energy in flow. Influenced by my background in yoga, I approach clay as a moving meditation. I am drawn to minimal forms that weave softness into the organic beauty of imperfection.
